Evènement Education Financing in Crisis – The role of Data in Breaking Silos This webinar will convene global and country-level actors to examine current challenges and opportunities in tracking education financing across humanitarian and development sources, and the implications for more effective financing at a time of shrinking resources. It will present findings from the joint ECW–UNESCO GEM Data in Distress paper, while situating them within the broader education financing landscape. Through a panel discussion with global and country partners, the session will highlight new evidence, explore implications for planning and coordination, and identify practical steps to improve transparency, complementarity, and alignment of funding. Expected outcomes include stronger awareness of the financing nexus divide, greater appreciation of consolidated data, and shared advocacy messages to ensure that the data we have access to becomes a key stepping stone to drive more effective education financing in emergencies and protracted crises.
