The purpose of this five-day training is to build participants’ knowledge and skills in the fundamentals of Accelerated Education (AE) programming. This training is intended for anyone involved in designing and implementing AE programmes and technical-level staff working on AE or non-formal education policy within a ministry of education.
As this report makes clear, it is not just COVID-19 that is exacerbating global inequality; the world’s unjust economic response to COVID-19 will deepen global inequality for at least a generation. The most marginalised and vulnerable have been left to fend for themselves and millions of children will pay the price with their lives, unless we act now.
To capture the impact of the Beirut explosion on children's psychosocial wellbeing and highlight perceived trends, experiences, priorities and coping mechanisms of children and parents in the aftermath of the event, Plan International Lebanon and Right to Play conducted this joint qualitative assessment of children’s behaviour during PSS sessions and interviews with parents.
This toolkit helps education planners plan and make key decisions on the return to learning during and after education disruptions caused by crises, such as COVID-19, in a way that is equitable, inclusive, and builds the resilience of education systems.
