[Resources] Early Childhood Development in Emergencies Programming Guidance Note and Library
We are delighted to share the Early Childhood Development in Emergencies Programming Guidance Note and Resources Library!
The ECDiE Programming Guidance Note and Library support local-level implementers, service providers, and humanitarian workers in planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating quality, multi-sectoral, inclusive ECDiE interventions. They present a compilation of resources developed over recent years by different stakeholders in the field, promoting collaboration among stakeholders in all sectors, including education, health, nutrition, and protection, offering inclusive and equitable programming for all young children, from preconception to age 8, and their families affected by emergencies.
To ensure broad relevance and applicability across all contexts and to allow for broad-based inputs from stakeholders around the world, INEE welcomes your feedback to improve these resources further. We encourage you to use the Programming Guidance Note and Library and complete this feedback form.
The Programming Guidance Note is available in English and French, with Arabic, Portuguese, and Spanish versions coming soon. The Library is available in English, French, Arabic, Portuguese, and Spanish. We encourage you to share them widely!
We would like to thank Childhood Education International for their collaborative, iterative, and thoughtful approach to developing these resources. We would like to thank the members of the INEE Early Childhood Development Working Group and other individuals who gave their time and expertise to inform the guidance note and library.
We also encourage you to join the #EarlyChildhoodDevelopment channel in the INEE Community of Practice (free to join!).
