INEE response to COVID-19

We hope this message finds you well and able to take the precautionary measures outlined by your national authorities and the World Health Organisation to protect yourself, your loved ones, and your communities during this global emergency.
The COVID-19 pandemic is an emergency of an unprecedented scale, bringing new challenges as many of us adapt to new ways of living and working. As a global community of Education in Emergency (EiE) actors, INEE wishes to express its solidarity with all those affected and all of our members around the world.
INEE is taking action to support our members, partners, and communities by ensuring they have the information, capacity, and resources to help governments, schools, teachers, and parents/caregivers mitigate the effects of the crisis and support the continuity of education for children and youth. We repeat:

As part of the INEE response, we have developed a collection of resources - available in Arabic, English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish - to support the provision of education in places affected by COVID-19. These resources have particular focus on distance learning, alternative education, e-learning, and psychosocial support. This concise, practical, and vetted collection will be updated with new resources as they become available.

In addition to curating and sharing resources, the INEE Secretariat, in close collaboration with partners, is developing a series of blogs and webinars on COVID-19 topics. Stay tuned to the INEE website, newsletters, and social media channels for more information and opportunities to engage.
It is more important than ever that we work together to meet the challenges this global emergency presents in order to ensure the continuity of safe, quality, and equitable education for all.
