You will be part of the core INS team. You will be part of a cross-functional team from Vodafone Foundation and UNHCR, will report directly to the INS Programme Lead and work closely with the DevOps officer.  You will focus on support activities but may be called upon to assist with front end development, back end development, software testing, automation and Linux administration.  You will work remotely, working with a global team (primarily operating in the Europe/London and Europe/Paris time zones). You will preferably be based either in the Bordeaux region (France) or in one of the 6 INS countries (DRC, Egypt, Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania, South Sudan).

We are a small team, so there is an opportunity to be involved in many areas of software and hardware development, deployment, support and administration. You will likely travel to INS countries to support field activities.

Project Coordinator - CREST

The IRC is seeking a Project Director who will be responsible for strategic and operational oversight of a new project to carry forward all agreed project deliverables with FCDO and ensure the successful design and implementation of the project. The Curriculum and Assessment Specialist is a contractor role with CW4WAfghan’s online secondary school for Afghan girls, Darakht-e Danesh (DD) Classroom, which launched in 2022. As we prepare to expand our school, currently grades 7-9, to include grades 10-12, in partnership with a Canadian online school, we are seeking a talented individual with expertise in curriculum and assessment development at the secondary level, to support our teachers and help us ensure a smooth transition for our students when they make the leap from a Dari/Farsi language of instruction to English in grade 10. We are looking to enhance our current middle school curriculum, to introduce new subjects, and to help prepare students for success in high school. This is a unique opportunity to work with a multi-national and multicultural team working together to restore the right to education to those to whom it’s denied.
