Publishing Notes from the Field with JEiE

INEE and the Journal on Education in Emergencies (JEiE) hosted an informational webinar about submitting and publishing field notes with JEiE. The webinar was geared especially toward EiE practitioner. Members of the JEiE Editorial Office presented a comprehensive review of JEiE’s scope and aims, our publication requirements, as well as what we look for in field notes manuscripts and how they are distinct from research articles.

JEiE Editorial Board Member Dr. Sweta Shah, of the Aga Khan Foundation, also spoke during this webinar. An expert in early childhood development, education in developing countries and conflict-affected regions, and disaster risk reduction, Dr. Shah shared insights from her experience successfully guiding manuscripts from the field through the peer review process. A portion of the webinar was an open Q&A.
