Journal on Education in Emergencies: From Submission to Publication

In early 2019, the Journal on Education in Emergencies (JEiE) hosted informational webinars, geared especially for scholars from the Global South, about submitting and publishing research manuscripts and field notes with JEiE. The webinars were supported by Open Society Foundations and were conducted in each of the INEE languages - English, Arabic, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. The aim of these webinars is to demystify the process of submitting and publishing manuscripts with a peer-reviewed academic journal, to settle any doubts and answer questions about the JEiE review and publication processes. During each webinar, members of the JEiE Editorial Office and the INEE Language Community Facilitators gave an overview of the journal’s scope and aims, introduced criteria for publication, and helped authors anticipate successful submission and revision in JEiE’s double blind peer review process.
