INEE Minimum Standard Tools

The INEE Minimum Standards for Education: Preparedness, Response, Recovery is the only global tool that articulates the minimum level of educational quality and access in emergencies through to recovery.

The Minimum Standards map lays out all 19 Minimum Standards. It helps visualize the inter-connectedness of the Minimum Standards and is available in 18 languages.

The INEE Minimum Standards Reference Tool accompanies and complements the INEE Minimum Standards Handbook. It is a useful training tool and can provide easy references to the INEE Minimum Standards for people working on application, institutionalisation and contextualisation of the Standards.

This framework provides a way for education in emergency (EiE) stakeholders to demonstrate alignment with and progress towards the INEE Minimum Standards.

The INEE Working Group on Minimum Standards has developed checklists for donor organisations and government agencies, NGOs and UN Agencies, to assist in the institutionalization of the INEE Minimum Standards.

Template to assist stakeholders in designing their plans to institutionalize the INEE Minimum Standards

This template is designed to guide development of a case study. Case studies strengthen the evidence base on the use and impact of the Minimum Standards around the world and are used by INEE members for trainings, advocacy, awareness-raising, program development and implementation etc.

This document highlights the relationships between the INEE Minimum Standards for Education: Preparedness, Response, Recovery and the Sphere Minimum Standards in Humanitarian Response in order to provide a cohesive outline of an integrated, multi-sectoral response.
