Inspired by the united solidarity and innovative experiences of millions of teachers and students, this handbook aims to define the term “flexible learning” with vivid examples and touching stories. It describes several implemented flexible online learning strategies during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The 2023 UNHCR Refugee Education Report draws on data from more than 70 countries worldwide to provide the most detailed picture yet of the state of refugee education and enrolment. Its findings reveal that despite areas of progress, more than half of the world’s 14.8 million school-aged refugee children remain out of formal education, risking their future prosperity and denying them the chance to fulfil their potential.

This guidance is intended to support education authorities and disaster management officers to make decisions and allocate resources to meet shelter needs of the population, to protect children’s rights to safety and wellbeing, educational continuity, and to protect education sector investments.

This youth report, jointly prepared by the Women's Commission, Global Youth Action Network, UNICEF and UNFPA, will accompany the official UN Graca Machel +10 report that will be submitted to the General Assembly on October 17th. It compiles the views and recommendations from more than 1700 young people from 93 questions through focus groups and an online questionnaire.

Uganda's Education in Emergencies - Inclusive Education Task Team developed Inclusive Education (IE) Briefs: short documents that highlight specific aspects of IE to support technical understanding and actions by EiE actors. Although these briefs were developed taking into consideration the EiE context of Uganda, some of these Briefs can also be applicable and useful resources to EiE actors globally.
