Increasingly intense international debates surrounding the post-2015 global education agenda have opened up during 2012. Whatever successors to the Millennium Development Goals and the Education for All goals are eventually negotiated, all stakeholders will need to plan them in close coordination. The focus of this paper, however, is on provision of education in conflict emergencies.

The International Task Force on Teachers for Education 2030 builds on its comparative advantage as a global multiple-stakeholder alliance joining hands to address the global teacher challenges, to offer the present Teacher Policy Development Guide.

The report further recommends that ECD donors and advocates partner with governments to build capacity for sustainable ECD systems, rather than support one-off programs or NGO initiatives. Finally, there is a call for improved use of rigorous data (including human-centered design) to more effectively allocate resources to the degree of need at population, community, and family levels.
