Out in the Open: Education sector responses to violence based on sexual orientation and gender identity/expression
This report presents the findings of a global review, commissioned by UNESCO, of homophobic and transphobic violence in schools and education sector responses. It offers an overview of the prevalence of homophobic and transphobic violence worldwide, discusses the education sector response to homophobic and transphobic violence, and provides recommendations to strengthen the response to homophobic and transphobic violence in schools and other educational settings.
