Leave No One Behind: Accelerating the SDGs through Quality Education

On September 25th the “Leave No One Behind: Accelerating the SDGs through Quality Education” event – hosted by Education Cannot Wait and the Education Commission, in partnership with Global Citizen – will bring together youth advocates and celebrity champions to encourage representatives of Member States, UN agencies, multilateral organizations, civil society organizations, and the private sector to pledge support for ECW as it accelerates its work to reach those furthest left behind in crises with quality education.

UNESCO Qualifications Passport for Refugees and Vulnerable Migrants

This high level event will comprise of (or include) a panel discussion, refugee testimonies and an engaging art activity that will draw attention to the critical plight of refugees and migrants seeking higher education as well as the role that education institutions must play in this regard. Through an open dialogue between policy makers and experts, the event expects to raise awareness of the importance of the new Qualifications Passport as part of the international community’s global efforts to facilitate the recognition of refugees’ qualifications.
