UNICEF has equipped 54 new kindergarten classrooms in Jordan's Azraq and Za'atari refugee camps, to give the children here a place to heal and grow strong. Many of these children were born here, to parents forced out of Syria by violence. Children in refugee camps often face trauma and uncertainty due to their conditions, but kindergarten is a place for them to play and learn, and escape from the pressures of living in these camps. In addition, it gives them the chance to begin their education, empowering the to continue learning and improving their overall development.
