“Laws on Us” is the new landmark report by ILGA World, mapping laws affecting LGBTI communities across the world.

This resource is part of a collection of resources compiled by UNICEF’s 2012-2016 Peacebuilding, Education and Advocacy Programme (PBEA), known as "Learning for Peace", which was funded by the Government of the Netherlands.

Education under Attack 2020 documents attacks on education in situations of armed conflict and insecurity between January 1, 2017, and December 31, 2019. Each of the 37 countries profiled in Education under Attack 2020 experienced at least ten reported attacks on education or military use of educational facilities in 2017 and 2018, the first two years of the period covered.

In view of the gaps in knowledge and information about attacks on education and about how education can be protected from attack, UNESCO has commissioned a series of publications to research and analyse these issues. Its aim is to enhance global understanding of the nature, scope, motives and impact of attacks on education and of the work that is being done by communities, organizations and governments to prevent and respond to such violence.

The previous edition included profiles of 30 countries that had experienced at least five incidents of attacks on education in which students or education personnel were harmed, including at least one direct attack or one person killed, between 2009 and mid-2013.
