INEE hosted a multi-part webinar series from the USAID Middle East Education Research, Training, and Support (MEERS) program, implemented by Social Impact and FHI 360. The series titled “The 4Ws of Education in Emergencies (EiE) Data: Who has What data? Where can I find it? And Why is this so complicated?”.

As the first in the series, this webinar introduces the landscape of publicly available EiE data from development, humanitarian, population movement, and conflict data sources, examining the similarities and differences of data across the humanitarian and development sectors. The presentation shares the MEERS project’s draft EiE data usage framework, which includes six usage categories. Finally, the webinar briefly introduces the humanitarian response system’s data collection and dissemination processes, followed by a high-level overview of the educational
development data ecosystem.
