October 11 is International Day of the Girl!
In observance, many INEE partners have planned events to advocate for increased awareness of gender inequality in education and promote gender-responsive education.

Girls at the Forefront: Climate Change, Education and Investment

To commemorate the International Day of the Girl, FHI360 is hosting a virtual roundtable exploring the intersection of education, gender equity, and climate change, with a special focus on adolescent girls. The discussion will explore the complex investments made by partners to reinforce the links between girls’ education, gender equity and climate change and will promote responses to the climate shocks that threaten to undo the progress made in education.
