This Technical Note draws from INEE member perspectives on measurement challenges and best practices during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are thrilled to share a new INEE Technical Note on Measurement for Education during the COVID-19 Pandemic!

This 15-page practitioner-oriented publication reflects inputs from a range of INEE members, and particularly from those that engaged in an August 2020 online workshop entitled “How do we monitor and evaluate distance learning programs during COVID-19?” The goal of that workshop and this Technical Note on Measurement is to help the education in emergencies community respond to technical questions and challenges faced in the COVID-19 response.

The Technical Note on Measurement relies on the INEE Minimum Standards for Education: Preparedness, Response, and Recovery as the global framework for delivering quality education in emergencies, and builds on the phased sections of the initial INEE Technical Note on Education During the COVID-19 Pandemic.
