INEE Meet-Ups are informal gatherings in all corners of the globe where INEE members and others can network, share experiences, and discuss relevant topics. All people and all themes are welcome! This is a fantastic opportunity for getting to know other INEE members and fellow colleagues on both a personal and professional level.

Organizers have the option to convene their events in either virtual or in-person format, and they may focus on a particular geographic area or topic, or just facilitate a space for networking with other INEE members.

*All INEE Meet-Ups are free, and, unless specified, all events are open to anyone interested.

For the first time, INEE Meet-Ups will be held over two consecutive months: in April and May 2025!

We will use the upcoming INEE Meet-Ups to gather INEE members' perspectives on What’s Next for Education in Emergencies? These discussions will inform (a) Call to Action for EiE stakeholders to help inform the future direction of EiE; and (b) a discussion paper summarizing the findings into how the sector moves forward.

Global Meet-Ups: The Meet-Ups will kick off in early April, with five global Meet-Ups in INEE's official languages (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic). These interactive workshops will focus on tackling the question of "What's Next for EiE?" and creating a shared vision for the sector moving forward We invite all INEE members and all other interested EiE stakeholders to join these events. See below for more details!

Thematic and Geographic Meet-Ups: During our regular Meet-Ups period (15-31 May 2025), INEE Members are invited to organize additional Meet-Ups focused on specific themes and country contexts. A call for volunteer organizers will be shared with INEE members for those interested in organizing events.

Pay attention to the language indicated next to each event: Unfortunately, We cannot offer interpretation or translation support for these Meet-Ups. Please only sign up for Meet-Ups in languages in which you are comfortable participating.
Expect to participate and contribute actively. These events are not webinars!: These Meet-Ups are meant to be highly interactive discussions.
Meet-Up events are not recorded: To encourage a safe and inclusive space for all to share their opinions, we are not recording the Meet-Ups.
Pay attention to the time and date of the Meet-Up and convert to your time zone accordingly: Each Meet-Up event has a time and time zone listed next to it. If you live in a different country or time zone, convert to your time zone in advance, and block the date and time in your calendar accordingly to not miss it!
For each event you registered to join, remember to use your personal meeting link from Zoom to join the Meet-Up: When you register for a Meet-Up, Zoom sends you an email which includes your personal link to join the Meet-Up(s).
