This position will focus on supporting coordination, evidence synthesis, and communications across UNICEF's global CAMH measurement portfolio, including the next phase of its flagship initiative, Measuring Mental Health Among Adolescents and Young People at the Population Level (MMAPP). This short-term consultancy (Aug–Oct 2026) is an excellent entry point for early-career professionals (including current students) into UNICEF's mental health measurement portfolio during a critical period of portfolio development and external launch
Duration: August–October 2026 (remote-based)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evidence scoping and literature reviews on CAMH measurement priorities, frameworks, and validated tools across global and LMIC contexts.
- Coordinate expert consultation processes, including Technical Advisory Group meetings and a virtual Delphi exercise.
- Support the launch of a global repository of culturally adapted and translated CAMH measurement tools.
- Coordinate communication materials and knowledge products, including the MMAPP Toolkit public launch webinar.
- Maintain portfolio tracking documents and support workstream knowledge management.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in research coordination, programme support, or communications in a global health, public health, or social science context
- Demonstrated ability to conduct evidence synthesis, including systematic literature searches, use of academic databases and reference management tools (e.g., Zotero, EndNote), and production of written synthesis reports
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing concurrent workstreams, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with multiple collaborators, including managing stakeholder outreach and response tracking
- Experience with knowledge organization, document management, or resource curation across multiple formats, languages, or sources
- Excellent written communication skills in English, including report writing, copy editing, and drafting outreach or web content
- Exposure to child and adolescent mental health, global health measurement, or UNICEF/UN contexts is strongly desired
- Demonstrated experience coordinating expert consultations, technical meetings, or multi-stakeholder convenings, including logistics planning, participant communications, and preparation of supporting documentation is an advantage
- Experience with online survey or consultation platforms is an advantage
- Familiarity with web content management or digital communications is an advantage
- Fluency in English required; another UN official language is an asset
