Pre-vocational Education

Glossary Term

Pre-vocational Education

Pre-vocational education is designed to introduce participants to the world of work and to prepare them for entry into vocational or technical education programs. Successful completion of such programs does not yet lead to a labor-market relevant vocational or technical qualification. For a program to be considered as pre-vocational or pre-technical education, at least 25% of its content has to be vocational or technical.
