INEE Minimum Standards

Dear INEE members and partners,

I am writing to share with you that I will be leaving the role of INEE Director – an opportunity that I have cherished - in September of this year. With the launch of the 2024 INEE Minimum Standards and the soon to be launched INEE Strategic Framework there are great things on the horizon for INEE.

I have been a contributing INEE member since the network was launched in 2000, and it has been a professional dream to work as part of the network’s leadership team. Together, and with all of you, we have overcome challenges, celebrated successes, and built a foundation for enduring positive change in the EiE sector. I am continually inspired by the passion, experience, wisdom, and dedication of INEE members that I work with every day.

As I embark on a new professional chapter in the Division for Education 2030 at UNESCO, I look forward to returning to the role of active INEE member (I’m not leaving the network!), and I will continue to contribute to our critical work from a new position.

Finally, I am confident that INEE will continue to thrive under new leadership and will remain a powerful force for good in the world. To that end, the INEE leadership team has begun the recruitment process for a new INEE Director, and they will ensure a smooth transition. The job posting for this role will be published soon at inee.org/jobs

Thank you for your unwavering support, collaboration, and partnership. Truly, each of you is making a positive difference for countless learners across the globe, and it has been an honor to support INEE members over these past ten years.

With sincere appreciation,

Dean Brooks
