Sadia Allin is the Country Director of Plan International in Somaliland/Somalia. Sadia has been working in the development and humanitarian sector for more than 25 years and has held various positions in Somalia/Somaliland, Ireland, Kenya and the UK. Sadia holds a social science degree in youth and community. She also has a Master's Degree in Humanities. She is the Chairperson of the Somali NGO Consortium Steering Committee, a member of the Humanitarian Country Team (HCT). She has appeared at a number of global media houses on the issues of humanitarian and girls’ rights including the Guardian, Reuters, BBC World Services, Foxnews, Skynews and etc. She is a long-life advocate for women’s rights and education.
