Martha has worked for over 20 years in the education sector for international NGOs, donors and governments in East, West and Southern Africa with a particular focus on education in conflict and post conflict contexts. She has expertise in alternative and non-formal education provision for out of school children and youth specifically Accelerated Education; delivering basic education in conflict/ post conflict and fragile contexts; education and forced displacement and teacher professional development. Martha is a qualified teacher with a first degree in education and a master’s degree in emergency and development practices.
