Suzanne Justie Mecheh

Suzanne Justie Mecheh is one of three INEE Country Focal Points for Cameroon. She holds a Master's degree in Education Sciences, and has 12 years of experience in managing projects related to the inclusion of refugees within education, with focus on gender-based violence, child protection, and community engagement. She currently works at Plan International as Manager of Urban Refugee Projects in the cities of Yaoundé and Douala. She envisions a world where children and especially girls feel safe and protected from all forms of violence even in situations of war, disaster, and catastrophe, with a special emphasis on conflict-sensitive education, gender equality, and the role of education in climate change conducive to sustainable development. She enjoys working with actors who are committed to the cause (government actors, community leaders, and civil society actors) and engage through a data and evidence approach to better address EiE issues. Sport, reading, dancing and gospel music are her favorite hobbies. Suzanne is Cameroonian and speaks French, English and German.
