Saïdou Dialla

Saïdou Dialla is the INEE Country Focal Point in Burkina Faso. As an education expert, he is a primary education inspector with over 25 years of experience. After teaching and managing schools, he joined the Ministry of Education where he worked in several departments as a specialist in inclusive education. He has designed and implemented numerous community projects for education, child protection and the socio-professional integration of vulnerable people and groups. He has done several international internships in Sweden, Rwanda, and Japan, through which he reinforced his knowledge of different educational systems. 

He graduated from Lund University in Sweden in children's rights and also holds a Master's degree in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid. He has more than 10 years of collaborative work experience with several government, NGOs, and UN agencies (UNICEF, Humanity & Inclusion, Light For the World, CBM, PAM, CRS, OCHA) as well as international cooperation agencies (SIDA, JICA). At present, he works for Children Believe as its Education Specialist. He is an active member of INEE since 2016, while also being a member of several national education networks (Education Cluster, Thematic Groups, Partnership Framework, OCHA Coordination Group, etc.). Saïdou is from Burkina Faso and speaks French and English.
