Mara Rute Lima Hercelin

Dr. Mara Rute Lima Hercelin is the INEE Country Focal Point for Brazil. She is a project consultant for the United Nations 2030 Agenda and a lecturer in Europe and Brazil on projects linked to the EU Pact for Skills, focusing on innovative methodologies applied to sustainable development.
She is currently director of the Centre d'Études Avancées en Éducation et Développement Durable, based in the Paris-Saclay region, France, while in Brazil she is a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Geosciences, a teaching and research institute of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), located within the state of São Paulo. She is linked to the project "Building Climate Resilience through Education and Human Rights: Reducing Social Vulnerability to Flooding". Mara is Brazilian and speaks Portuguese and French.
