Manoah William

Manoah Kefa William is the INEE Country Focal Point for Tanzania. He currently serves as a Lead for Early Childhood Development and Education at BRAC International, providing technical leadership for BRAC’s ECD and Education work across Africa and Asia. Previously, he served as an Education Consultant at Oxford Policy Management, where he participated in projects for clients like FCDO, World Bank, Echidna Giving, and ECDAN. Having lived and worked in Tanzania and South Sudan, and worked with programme teams in Tanzania, Uganda, South Sudan, Rwanda and Sierra Leone, he’s an experienced professional in the early childhood development and education sector, with over 10 years’ experience in programme and project management.
Manoah also has significant experience in youth and women programming, leading various programmes that supported youth empowerment and women's access to income-generating activities in Tanzania and South Sudan. He also served as the Senior Manager of Early Childhood Development and Education at BRAC International, National Consultant at Includovate in Tanzania, supporting the development of an Integrated ECD package commissioned by UNICEF, and he was an Education Advisor and Programme Manager for BRAC in South Sudan.
Manoah has a strong track record of collaborating with governments to develop national ECD documents and protocols, which include developing the National Care Worker’s Guide for Tanzania, the Sierra Leone ECD Teacher’s Guide for children aged 3-6, and advisory support for an integrated ECD package and reshaping ECD model for Tanzania. Manoah has a Bachelor's Degree in Education, and is now completing a Master’s in Educational Management and Administration, both from the University of Dar es Salaam. Manoah is Tanzanian and speaks English and Swahili.
