Irini Spyrelli is the INEE Country Focal Point for Greece. She has a Master's degree in Education Sciences with a focus on Special Education and Training and a BA in Greek Language and Literature with a specialization in Linguistics. Since 2016 she has dedicated her career to supporting vulnerable populations, particularly refugees, migrants and asylum seekers, through various roles in Greece, mainly managing integration and education projects. Currently, as the Senior Livelihoods Manager for the International Rescue Committee Hellas, Irini leads the design and implementation of cross-cutting initiatives which combine the provision of psychosocial support, employability and self-employment services and foundational skills development in Athens and Thessaloniki. Irini possesses excellent communication, organizational, and business development skills and has successfully coordinated the Adult Education sub Working Group on Lesvos island from 2021 until 2022. Irini is Greek and speaks Greek and English.
