Deyssy Cruzcaya Lozano Cadenas

Deyssy Lozano Cadenas is the INEE Country Focal Point in Peru. With more than 20 years’ experience in the design and management of educational and social programs, she has specialized in education in contexts of crisis, emergencies and child protection. She has been trained in gender and sexuality, indigenous peoples and intercultural policies, social-emotional well-being and a holistic approach to safe schools. Currently, she collaborates with various networks and organizations to strengthen education in development and emergency contexts, promoting safe and equitable learning environments. She is also the author of publications on resilience, school coexistence, socioemotional wellbeing and flexible education for learning continuity in the face of risks and disasters.
Deyssy has worked with various international and governmental organizations promoting policies and programs to guarantee the right to quality education for children, adolescents and youth in vulnerable situations. She has also represented Peru in national and international forums on education and child protection. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Education, a Master's Degree in Educational Sciences with a major in University Teaching, a Diploma in Educational Network Management and is certified in the Accelerated Technical Knowledge Development Program for High Potential Experts. Deyssy is Peruvian and speaks Spanish.
