Ahlam Ahmed is the INEE Country Focal Point for Yemen. She is an EiE expert with 15 years’ experience currently serving as Education in Emergencies Officer and Yemen Sub-National Education Cluster Coordinator with UNICEF (double-hatted).  

She previously worked as an education program manager, education specialist, Co-chair of the Non-Formal Education (NFE) Technical Working Group, and as a university lecturer at Sana’a University. Ahlam is experienced in formal and non-formal education programs integrated with school-based child protection programs, and in overall project management. Ahlam is Yemeni and speaks Arabic and English.
