Ayat Ramadan Mohammad Al Aqra is the INEE Country Focal Point for Jordan. With extensive experience in education and early childhood development, Ayat currently serves as the Early Childhood Development Coordinator at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Jordan. She has played a key role in adapting early grade curricula, integrating social-emotional learning, and enhancing teaching and learning materials in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.

Ayat has worked on strengthening community engagement in education, supporting parents and caregivers, and developing national-level strategies for early childhood learning. She is passionate about inclusive education and ensuring access to quality learning for children in crisis-affected settings. She holds a B.A. in English Language & Literature from The Hashemite University, a Diploma in Montessori Methodology, and an Advanced Certificate in Education in Emergencies. Ayat is Jordanian and speaks Arabic and English.
