ZOA Position Paper: Having Their Say, Refugee Camp Residents and Inclusive Education

ZOA Refugee Care (ZOA) is a Netherlands-based NGO established in1973. It provides support to refugees, displaced people and victims ofnatural disasters. ZOA works in various countries in Asia and Africa. Atthe moment, it implements projects in Afghanistan, Angola, Burma(Myanmar), Cambodia, Ethiopia, Liberia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Thailand andUganda. Since 1984, ZOA Thailand has been working with Burmeserefugees living in seven refugee camps along the Thai-Burmese borderin the areas of general education, vocational training, and food andshelter. ZOA Thailand presently employs 64 staff members. Our mainoffice is in Mae Sot, with field offices in Mae Sariang, Maesot andKanchanaburi.
