Supporting Education in Fragile & Conflict Affected Situations
The webinar explored situations in GPE partner countries where GPE have been able to provide support during crises, and some of the lessons learned in those contexts. The panel looked into the application of the INEE Minimum Standards (INEE MS), specifically in GPE partner countries. In a highly collaborative process that began in 2003, over 3,500 educationalists from over 52 countries contributed to the development and update of the INEE MS in an effort to enhance the quality of education provision, increase access to safe and relevant learning opportunities and ensure accountability in providing these services. This session drew upon the experiences and knowledge of governments, development partners, and INGOs that have applied and contextualized the INEE MS in GPE countries.
