Safeguard Yemen's Future: Protect Education from Attack

This briefing paper addresses the four-year long armed conflict in Yemen and its impact on the students and educational system in the country. According to UNICEF and the Yemen Education Cluster, close to 500,000 children have dropped out of school since the conflict began, and around 4.7 million children are in need of educational assistance. This has only been exacerbated by the conflict, especially with military-use of schools, and threats or attacks on open schools.
