Investing in Learning: the Case for Strengthening the Collection and Use of Learning Assessment Data in EiE Contexts
This webinar marked the launch of the INEE Policy Paper, "Investing in Learning: the Case for Strengthening the Collection and Use of Learning Assessment Data in EiE Contexts". The paper provides guidance on how to increase and improve the measurement of holistic learning outcomes for crisis-affected learners for EiE sector donors, national governments and humanitarian and development agencies. It provides recommendations for EiE stakeholders to improve the measurement of learning outcomes for crisis-affected children and youth.
This webinar:
- Provided a brief overview of the Policy Paper and highlight the work conducted by the INEE QELO workstream, including two Mapping Papers on academic learning and PSS-SEL measurement and assessment tools
- Discussed the different aspects of collecting and using learning assessment data in EiE Contexts from the perspective of various humanitarian and development stakeholders
- Discussed key issues related to the measurement of holistic learning outcomes in crisis contexts, including issues to frame policy dialogue such as how to measure learning outcomes, the relief-development nexus, and building better data management systems.
