During this webinar, presenters will share evidence on three measures that have been developed or adapted for their specific contexts: Response to Stress Questionnaire (RSQ) in Lebanon, Teacher Classroom Observation (TCO) in Tanzania, and Holistic Assessment for Learning (HAL) in Syria. The RSQ and HAL will be available in the Measurement Library next week, with the TCO available in the coming months.

• Dr. Ha Yeon Kim, a senior research scientist at Global TIES for Children will present the psychometric evidence of the Response to Stress Questionnaire (RSQ), capturing school-related stress and stress reactivity with the data from Syrian refugee children attending Lebanese public schools.
• Dr. Jeongmin Lee, Education Researcher at IRC, and Autumn Brown, former Technical Advisor at IRC and current PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, will discuss the psychometric qualities of the Teacher Classroom Observation (TCO) assessment using data from primary school teachers in Tanzania.
• Clay Westrope, an advisor on research, evidence, and learning at Save the Children will present on the Holistic Assessment for Learning (HAL), an assessment developed by Save the Children and UNICEF in collaboration with psychometricians and regional practitioners and researchers as part of the Education Cannot Wait Whole of Syrian initiative. The HAL is designed to measure and provide formative feedback to Syrian teachers on second and third grade children’s basic literacy, numeracy, and social and emotional skills.
