INEE CFPs 2023 map with pins.pngWe are excited to announce a call for applications for the next round of INEE Country Focal Points, an initiative aimed at addressing INEE members' demands for better ways to connect with other EiE actors in their country contexts. This initiative aims to meet those demands and advance INEE's longer term work to strengthen and diversify its membership.

INEE is enlisting Country Focal Points (CFPs) across the main INEE official language groups - Arabic, English, French, Portuguese and Spanish - for a two-year term from March 2024 to February 2026. CFPs are key reference persons at country level, tasked to support networking and communication, particularly through the facilitation of information exchange and discussion among INEE members.

This is a voluntary, unpaid, part-time role with exciting opportunities for learning, networking, and development. CFPs are selected based on individual qualifications as well as factors related to the overall cohort of candidates, such as diversity of geography, gender, language, and context.

We invite you to have a look at the INEE Country Focal Point terms of reference (in Arabic, English, French, Portuguese or Spanish) for more information about activities, role requirements, and more. Some of the basic requirements for candidates are:

  • Hold INEE membership;
  • Be a national of the country to be represented and speaker of one of INEE's official languages;
  • At least two (2) years of experience working in education in emergencies;
  • Prior engagement in INEE network spaces and/or other INEE member engagement activities and initiatives;
  • Endorsed by an established national organization (NGO, network, coalition, Ministry)
  • Click to read the full list of requirements.

Application procedure:

Please complete the Google form in Arabic, English, French, Portuguese, or Spanish, including attaching your résumé/CV, motivation letter, and two (2) references from organizations vouching for your work and character by 31 January 2024.
