Sumbal is supporting the INEE communications activities and outreach. She brings extensive experience in research, advocacy, and communications for gender-responsive education in emergencies. Previously, she has worked with Mott Macdonald to support education innovations in Pakistan and has led a USAID-supported project for girls’ learning and digital literacy in urban slums. Sumbal holds a Masters degree in Innovations Management as a Fulbright scholar from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. She was also selected as a Policy Leader Fellow at the School of Transnational Governance at the European University Institute. She is based in Naples, Italy.
