Evidence in the time of COVID-19

In May 2020, 3ie hosted a series of interactive online events, as part of its new Virtual Evidence Weeks, which included discussions on the role and importance of evidence in the midst of this ongoing global health crisis, the importance of cost evidence, cost-benefit analysis and scaling up programs.

Evidence is already playing a key role in shaping our responses to COVID-19. But at the same time that the pandemic creates opportunities to broaden evidence use, it also raises numerous challenges for those working to collect, analyse, and synthesize data.
