Education Sector Reform Assistance (ESRA) Accelerated Basic Education Program
The ESRA program supported efforts to achieve significant and sustainable improvements in Pakistan's education sector in four areas: (1) policy and planning; (2) professional development for educators and administrators; (3) literacy; and (4) public-private-community partnerships. The program includes the scope and sequence (curriculum) for an eight-week course for the teacher.
