Learning for Living
Supported by USAID/Kenya in 2011, EDC implemented the Garissa Youth Project. G-Youth enabled and empowered youth to design and lead initiatives to improve opportunities for themselves and their communities. The project gave Garissan youth greater access to the world of work and aims to keep youth in school for secondary and higher education. G-Youth was an associate award of the Educational Quality Improvement Program 3 (EQUIP3), a program designed to engage and prepare out-of-school youth for their roles within the world of work, civil society and family life.
Learning for Living is an interactive audio instruction (IAI) series for upper primary school students in grades 6-8 that covers civics education.
