Odinaka Chukwu supports the INEE Gender Project Manager to coordinate the INEE Gender Task Team and Reference Group on Girls’ Education in Emergencies. Odinaka is a graduate of International Educational Development from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a recipient of the Penn-UNESCO Scholarship awarded to individuals committed to international education in developing countries. She has 5 years of experience in designing and implementing programs that teach literacy and life skills to children and youths living in low-income communities in Nigeria. She has worked as a teacher in Makoko Nigeria; one of Africa’s largest Slums. Odinaka is also the co-founder of Sharing Life Africa, nonprofit creating access to quality education for children in underserved communities in Africa through women economic empowerment and education support programs.
