Geneva hub to aid worldwide emergency education

The Geneva Global Hub for Education in Emergencies aims to help the 127 million children who do without schooling because of humanitarian crises. Its official launch was on Monday, after Switzerland pledged to establish Geneva as such a hub at the 2019 Global Refugee Forum.

تم إطلاق مركز جنيف العالمي للتعليم في حالات الطوارئ (The Geneva Global Hub for Education in Emergencies) رسميًا في 25 كانون الثاني (يناير) 2021. خلال المنتدى العالمي للاجئين لعام 2019 الذي عقد في جنيف، تعهدت الحكومة السويسرية بوضع مدينة جنيف الدولية كمركز عالمي للتعليم في حالات الطوارئ. أكثر من 127 مليون طفل في مناطق الأزمات الإنسانية والصراعات محرومون من الوصول الي المدرسة.

Stepping up education in emergencies through enhanced cooperation

The Geneva Global Hub for Education in Emergencies was officially launched on 25 January 2021. During the 2019 Global Refugee Forum held in Geneva, Switzerland pledged to position International Geneva as a global centre for education in emergencies. Over 127 million children in humanitarian crises and conflict regions cannot go to school.
