Beyond Academics: New Measures for Social-Emotional Learning, Mental Health, and Implementation Quality

The recently launched MENAT Measurement Library is expanding with new resources to build evidence that will support children’s learning and well-being in crisis contexts. Please watch our first webinar on the MENAT Measurement Library for more information on the Library itself, as well as the first measures that were presented.

In this one-hour webinar, presented in English, presenters from IRC, NYU Global TIES for Children and Queen Mary University provided an overview of the measures they developed and tested in crisis-affected contexts that are now available on the Library website, along with technical working papers presenting evidence on their validity and reliability and training materials to facilitate their use.

The measures featured during this webinar provided information on social and emotional learning (SEL), mental health and program implementation quality, and are relevant to educational and psychosocial programs in fragile contexts. The presenters offered recommendations for those interested in using these tools in their own work.
