Beirut is one of two INEE Focal Points for Yemen. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics, a Master's degree in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration. Her experience in the education sector dates back to 2019. Recently, Beirut worked at the Yemen Development Network (YDN) as an Education Coordinator, then as a sub-coordinator of the Education in Emergencies Cluster in the Marib and Al Jawf regions in Yemen. In that role, she worked to establish the YDN office in Marib, coordinated between INGOS, NGOs, education officers, MoE, etc., and visited IDP sites and districts to do advocacy and engagement activities. As of November 2023, she works for Muslim Hands as their Education Officer in Yemen. Beirut is based in Marib, Yemen and speaks Arabic and English.
